EGC Enterprises, Incorp., a leader in developing ThermaFoil™ high technology solutions, introduces Q•Foil™ rapid-response flexible graphite foil heaters

Q•Foil™ PRODUCT FEATURES:

  • Size - Q•Foil™ heaters are available in a wide range of custom sizes, from 1 sq. in. to 100 feet in length. Although small sizes are available, Q•Foil™ heating systems lend themselves to larger applications and more economical than conventional etched or wire heaters.


  • Flexible Shapes - The flexibility of shapes means the heater will easily conform to the shape of your heated surfaces for direct mounting. Should you require a heater with a rigid net shape, Q•Foil™ can be molded on its base laminate form or in combination with additional materials. If you need a heater to flex, bend or move during use, Q•Foil™ remains flexible throughout its full temperature range.
  • Range of Materials - EGC has developed a multitude of base heater laminates ranging from .005" thick using polyamide materials to 1" thick heated platens using aluminum. Q•Foil™ heater designs are available in numerous material configurations including outer jacket of most Kapton® thin-film plastics, a wide range of other thermoset and thermoplastic polymer films, ceramics, metal foils, quartz, and carbon-carbon structures.

  • Rapid Prototypes - Using our state of the art design software and prototype fabrication equipment, our technical staff can provide you with the optimum Q•Foil™ heater design and functional prototypes, in some cases within 48 hours of receiving your application data.
